Massage several pumps onto damp or dry skin and rinse off with warm water. Follow with toner, Tidalshift Serum, moisturizer and/or SPF.

Remove the treatment pump from the bottle. Wash and dry the glass bottle and place it in your at-home recycling bin for curbside collection.
Rinse the treatment pump and allow it to dry. Bring the pump to our Pact Collective recycling bin at any Cheeks + Co for advanced molecular recycling.

A resurfacing enzyme complex from pineapple and papaya extracts that delicately renews, smooths, and brightens the appearance of skin over time. Leave a layer of Surfacemoves on as a flask mask to give the enzymes extra time to gently exfoliate.

Nope! You do not need foam to effectively cleanse your face. High foam can be an indication of high surfactant levels, which isn’t necessarily a good thing for your skin barrier health and microbiome. We embrace a more scientific and elevated approach to cleansing: don’t strip your skin barrier, nourish your microbiome, be gentle, and replenish hydration as much as possible.
Montmorillonite clay is a powerful ingredient for the skin. It provides a broad spectrum of benefits - such as brightening, purifying, and accelerated soothing - but it’s often presented in cleansing products geared toward oily, blemish-prone, and reactive skin. Unfortunately, many of these types of cleansers can work against your skin - removing any trace of oil and significantly stripping the barrier.
Our mission was to make the benefits of clay universally accessible and to create a cleanser that would work with all skin. As a result, Surfacemoves has a wide range of compatibility with the skin; it doesn’t interfere with the skin’s natural moisture factor (NMF) and provides gentle cleansing action that helps to brighten appearance, soften the surface, and support better skin barrier integrity.
Surfacemoves is designed for all skin types and conditions - dry, oily, combination, sensitive, blemish-prone, and redness-prone. The core ingredient heroes are universally beneficial for the skin as gentle purifiers, fortifiers and replenishing hydrators.
We recommend this product for use around the eye area.
While Surfacemoves has not been clinically tested for use on or around the eye area, there is no research available to conclude that it is unsafe for around the eyes. If you do accidentally get Surfacemoves in the eye, rinse with water until clear.
Surfacemoves has a sophisticated and subtle citrus scent from organic bergamot and sweet orange oils.
Yes. Surfacemoves will remove light makeup and sunscreen, but it will not remove heavier and/or waterproof makeup and thicker sunscreen. For the latter, we recommend first cleansing with an oil-based cleanser to remove the bulk of makeup/sunscreen and follow with Surfacemoves as your second cleanse.
